Free digital training for Hungarian SMEs, also in Debrecen
Google announced the expansion of its Digital Workshop’s program to Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises. The free training and educational material helps businesses take advantage of the opportunities offered by the digital world, which in the long run promotes the growth of the Hungarian economy. Following the launching of the online platform last year, the program will be open to free lectures and personal consultations in more than 30 cities in the country in 2017, including Debrecen, where a Google Digital Workshop will be held on Friday, 19th May, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hajdú-Bihar County.
In order to reach more and more enterprises with its free training, Google created a common event calendar with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s “Modern Cities Program”. The primary aim of the program is to modernize Hungarian small enterprises.
Experts from both initiatives will tour together the country. Thus, by the end of the year, SMEs will be able to listen to performances for growth in a total of 17 cities, and the can apply for personal consultations in more than 30 cities as well.
These digital consultants first assess the digital readiness of companies and provide personalized guidance to increase the online presence of the companies. SMEs are thus enriched with a tangible knowledge that enables them to make better use of the Internet and thereby increase growth.
